Mansurat Shoge

Dr. Shoge Mansurat has a PhD Organic Chemistry and specializes mainly on Natural Product Chemistry. She had MSc Organic Chemistry, Post Graduate Diploma in Education and BSc in Chemistry. She belongs to different Professional bodies such as the Royal Society of Chemistry, Chemical Society of Nigeria, Institute of Chartered Chemists of Nigeria, Organisation for Women in Science for the Developing World and the Society for Underutilized legumes. She had a Certificate of Merit/Award in Essential Differential Calculus for Science and Technology Students (Mathematics Competition organized by Kaduna Polytechnic, Kaduna), an award for her participation in the 1st International Conference organized by the Faculty of Science, Air Force Institute of Technology, Kaduna, Nigeria and also awards as the best overall participant at the Virtual Institute of Capacity Building in Higher Education (VICBHE) on Grant-Winning Proposals and Fundraising, Module 9.

She lectures Organic Chemistry, Heterocyclic Chemistry, Applied Spectroscopy, Natural Product Chemistry amongst others. Dr. Shoge Mansurat has authored numerous publications in the field of Organic/Natural Products Chemistry and attended many courses on AI and digital innovation in academic institutions. She is also one of the beneficiaries of the European Commission Grant/Project from Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) which was focus on Africa Space Science and Technology (FAST4Future). A total of 718,000 Euros was won and the project is to be completed in 36 months.
